Takuma Ishii – Piano Recital “Love” in Düsseldorf, Sa. 05.09.2026

Takuma Ishii is one of the most internationally acclaimed Japanese pianists of his generation.

In 2016, he became the first Japanese pianist to win Second Prize at the George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest, one of the world’s most prestigious international piano competitions.

Since then, he has performed regularly on major stages throughout Europe, Asia and South America, collaborating with renowned orchestras and festivals. One particular highlight was his debut at the Berlin Philharmonie with the Berliner Symphoniker.

Alongside his international concert career, Ishii has built an extraordinary digital following. His YouTube channel, “TAKU-ON TV”, has more than 340,000 subscribers and over 138 million views, making it one of Japan’s most influential classical music platforms.

Today, Takuma Ishii is regarded as one of Japan’s leading young pianists and an established presence on the international classical music scene. His concerts regularly sell out and attract a broad audience extending far beyond traditional classical concertgoers.

Further major projects are planned for 2026, including performances with the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra and a tour with the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France.
